Description

Black Lives Matter and need to be represented more in genealogical artwork. I’m spending this week restoring historical family record pages, posters, and prints that feature the history of people of color, in America and beyond. Most antique family register artwork shows only Anglo-Saxon families in the images, so I scoured the public record for high-quality historical documents. These have been restored to the colors I believe would have been used at the time, before the inks faded. Follow my shop for more of these documents. I’m adding new ancestry and genealogy printable art files all the time! I also do custom genealogy artwork, so message me if you’d like something more personal.

This vibrant Georgian Era family tree illustration was originally made as a lithograph in the 1800s, by the Krebs Lithographing Company in Cincinnati. I’ve digitally restored this vintage family record, removed the rips and tears, and brought it back to full brightness! You can put in the Name, born, married, and died information of 12 family members.

INSTANT DIGITAL DOWNLOAD = NOTHING WILL BE SHIPPED = NO WAIT TIME!
This is a high-quality digital download .jpg image file with blanks for names and photos of your family members. This is not a fillable file. It is made to be printed and filled in by hand.

THE IMAGERY INCLUDED IN THIS RARE EXAMPLE OF AMERICANA
This image shows the difference in the lives of families before and after the war. On the bottom left, there’s an image of life during slavery and, and on the right, it shows family life after emancipation. Granted, this is a pretty rose-colored view of history, but it was made in the 1800s.

BONUS GIFT
I’ve also included a bonus SURPRISE PRESENT that will be available for instant download with your purchase.

PRINT IT ANY SIZE YOU LIKE!
It measures 2813 x 3540 pixels and looks beautiful printed large, up to 39 x 49 inches! It is a .jpg image file, and so is the bonus gift.

HOW TO PRINT THIS DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
On your printer interface, just select “fit to page”, and it will print on whatever size paper you choose. The bigger you print it, the better it looks!

HOW TO PRINT IT REALLY LARGE
If you want really large printing, you can bring the file to your local copy shop or upload it to your favorite print-on-demand website, and get as many copies as you like made, for non-commercial purposes.

GIFT IT AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE!
This would be a fabulous party favor for family reunions or baby showers. Because it’s downloadable, you can print this heirloom artwork out as many times as you like. Frame it or roll it up like a poster, and tie a ribbon around it, and you have the perfect gift for a new couple, grandparents, or a friend who loves researching their ancestry. If you’re homeschooling, you can use this as a colorful way to introduce your kids to the idea of family history!
