Description

This flourishing family record printable file was originally made as an ink drawing in 1878, the first year of the Gilded Age, by John R. Staples. And WOW does the exuberance of that time come through! I’ve digitally restored this antique document, removed the rips and tears, and resized it for contemporary printing.

This listing is for:
THE 3 DIGITAL IMAGE FILES SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.
You get the three different jpeg files so you can print this ephemera on a variety of standard paper sizes and easily find a frame for it when you’re ready to display your family’s history.

THE IMAGERY INCLUDED IN THIS GREAT EXAMPLE OF AMERICANA:
The borders and frames almost hint at what’s to come in the Art Deco and Art Nouveau eras. It’s a fascinating mix of bold, impressive linework, and curling swirls and loops of fine lines. This can be printed professionally, or on your home printer and used as framed artwork. It would also make an amazing page insert in any ancestry and genealogy family tree research journal. This family history page has room for recording births, marriages, and deaths in style!

The banner quotes read:
“Thy children shall be like olive plants round about thy table.” (In the new baby/ birth section.)
“What God hath joined together let not man put asunder.” (In the marriage section.)
